Glucosamine is a basic element from which the body produces substances such as chondroitin sulfate in articular cartilage and hyaluronic acid, a component of joint fluid. It is part of the composition of proteoglycans, substances that allow cartilage to absorb shocks.

Chondroitin sulfate belongs to the glycosaminoglycan family. These chemical compounds ensure the structure and elasticity of a large part of our cartilage, skin, tendons, and artery walls, among others. Chondroitin sulfate is particularly abundant in joint cartilage, where it contributes to the composition of proteoglycans, substances that enable cartilage to absorb shocks.

Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan recommended for the treatment of osteoarthritis. It is proposed for painful symptoms of osteoarthritis and to prevent arthritic aggravation. It is present in the synovial fluid found in joint cavities.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a sulfur-containing substance found in small quantities in many foods such as milk, eggs, chili peppers, or onions, and in certain plants like horsetail, for example.
